Heleena Marie, is a Creative Marketing & Events specialist, having worked across large Brands, Sponsorship & Major Events, closely with the Social Media industry — for many years.
With a passion for business, and strategic thinking ~ her obsession with bringing new ideas to life is relentless, with execution at the highest level — the ultimate goal.
With a keen eye for style, and detail, Heleena has moved between Marketing, Sponsorship, Hotels & Hospitality, as well as Communications & Content Creation, and as a result, has a unique ability to change & adapt as a project moves & evolves..
Having run, Restaurant, ‘Bahari | The Hellenic Palate’ in Melbourne for 12 years now, alongside Philip, the duo also recently launched new project — Phlavour.
Phlavour, provides the community with wholesome, ‘Ready Meals’, with nothing but the best produce, & no preservatives — delivered fresh to doorsteps around Melbourne.

Heleena grew up in Melbourne, and began her experience in a large family run Venue, hosting large scale Private and Corporate events.
At a young age (20), Managing the Venue, she developed adaptability, and management skills — which were transferable and a strong basis for what was to come next.
After completing her studies at Monash University, studying Business, Marketing — Heleena was accepted into ‘The Westin’ Graduate Program, as an ‘Operational Management Trainee’. This provided an exceptional environment for Hospitality training, and a grounding in Tourism & Hotels.
From there, wanting to use her Marketing degree and expand her knowledge, Heleena worked for Clemenger BBDO, in Marketing & Activations.
Working alongside many big Brands, like Schweppes, Cadbury, Lacoste, Solo, Origin Energy…Heleena then turned her skillset to the Not For Profit Sector.
Working for Children’s Charity, Kids Under Cover, and subsequently an agency delivering Marketing / Donor campaigns for organisations like Berry Street, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and many more…
Heleena along with husband Philip, founded, & have since run restaurant, Bahari | The Hellenic Palate, (12 Years), from, October 2013. A popular Greek staple on Swan Street, Richmond, the restaurant is always bustling, showcasing traditional favourites, with Philip’s unique twists always appearing on the specials.
‘The Gringlish Co’, was then created in it’s initial form, as a Catering arm, which saw the team take part of many private and corporate events, as well as festivals, and large scale activations.
Most recently the duo launched Mediterranean Ready Meals company, ‘Phlavour’. This new venture has become very popular with busy families, professionals and the elderly community who enjoy wholesome, fresh, familiar meals with no preservatives - food they may not be able to cook for themselves anymore, which is delivered to their doorsteps.
‘Gringlish Collective’ , is an adaptation — an evolution that needed to happen. A place where projects, ideas and creativity flow…
